Illness and Medication
Illness: Parents should not send sick children to the Centre. If a child becomes sick at the centre, staff will inform parents of the signs and symptoms displayed, treatment given and exclusion recommendations or requirements. An illness record form will need to be signed by the parent on collecting their child.
Medication: If your child requires medication, please fill out and sign the medication form and hand it to a staff. Under no circumstances medication is to be left in a child's bag or locker. Only prescribed medications will be administered to children whilst in our care. All medications should come to the centre in their original packaging with a prescription label which clearly states the name of the medication, the name of the child, the dosage and the prescribing Doctor. Over the counter medication cannot be given unless accompanied by a Doctor’s letter.
