At Greenleaf Early Learning Centre, we believe every child deserves access to high-quality early education — no matter their family’s circumstances. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a government initiative that helps reduce the cost of childcare for eligible families, making early learning more affordable and accessible.
Thanks to proposed changes like the 3-Day Guarantee, more families than ever may benefit from subsidised care — even with minimal work, study, or volunteering commitments.
The Child Care Subsidy is financial support provided by the Australian Government to assist families with the cost of early childhood education and care. The subsidy is paid directly to approved childcare providers — like Greenleaf — which reduces your out-of-pocket (gap) fees.
Your CCS percentage is based on:

In February 2025, the Australian Government proposed the 3-Day Guarantee to make childcare more accessible for all families.

Making Preschool Education More Accessible for NSW Families
In addition to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), Greenleaf Early Learning Centre participates in the Start Strong for Long Day Care program — a NSW Government initiative designed to support children aged 3 and above with access to affordable, high-quality preschool education in eligible long day care settings.
This program helps reduce out-of-pocket costs for families while also strengthening early education services across the state.
