At Greenleaf Early Learning Centre, we believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. That is why our educational programs are individually tailored to meet each child’s strengths, interests, and developmental needs. We focus on nurturing the whole child, supporting their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and language development in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for children from birth to five years, and My Time, Our Place for school-aged children. These national frameworks ensure that our educational programs are built on current research and best practices in early childhood education.
We create meaningful learning opportunities through play-based and intentional teaching experiences that:
- Help children develop a strong sense of identity and belonging
- Foster positive relationships and respectful interactions
- Promote problem-solving, creativity, and curiosity
- Encourage active exploration of the world around them
- Support language and literacy through storytelling, music, and conversation
- Build early numeracy and STEM concepts through real-life experiences
Our educators observe, plan, and document each child’s learning journey, and we regularly reflect on and adjust the program to ensure it remains relevant and engaging. We also work in close partnership with families to understand and incorporate their goals, values, and aspirations into each child’s learning.
