Mamtesh Kumar
Educational Leader & Senior Educator
With over two decades of experience in education, Mamtesh brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Greenleaf. He holds a Master’s in Food Technology and Education, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and is currently completing his Early Childhood Teaching qualification. Mamtesh is passionate about fostering curiosity, building strong educational foundations, and creating meaningful learning experiences. He enjoys music, sports, and inspiring children through creative teaching methods.
Khushboo Vankawala
Assistant Educator
Khushboo holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and is currently studying towards her Diploma. Since joining Greenleaf in September 2023, she has supported children’s learning with warmth, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood development. Khushboo values cultural diversity, enjoys exploring new traditions, and treasures time spent with her family.
Gauri Timsina
Educator – Toddlers Room
Gauri is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and brings a thoughtful and nurturing presence to the Koala Room. She is committed to building positive relationships and delivering play-based, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that help children flourish in their own unique way.
Maya Lama
Educator
Maya holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and is completing her Diploma. She believes in the power of play-based learning and strives to create engaging, meaningful environments for children. Outside of work, Maya enjoys photography, spending quality time with her family, and supporting elderly community members.Gauri is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and brings a thoughtful and nurturing presence to the Koala Room. Taylor Clarke
Room Leader – Possum Room
Taylor has been a valued member of the Greenleaf team for over four years. Currently completing her Diploma, she leads the Possum Room with passion and creativity. Taylor is dedicated to providing hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that spark children’s curiosity and support their growth in a nurturing, safe environment.
Rachel Doe
Educator
Rachel joined Greenleaf in June 2023 and is currently studying her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. A proud mum of two daughters, Rachel brings warmth, empathy, and real-world parenting experience to her role. She is certified in First Aid, CPR, and Food Handling, and is passionate about supporting children’s early milestones with care and encouragement.
Riya Pal
Educator
Riya is studying a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE and has been part of Greenleaf since January. Originally from India, she brings cultural richness and a vibrant energy to her role. Riya enjoys music, movies, and forming strong bonds with children and families as she grows professionally within the early learning sector.
Nadira Ibnat
Educator
Nadira began her journey with Greenleaf in May 2024. She is currently studying for her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE NSW. With a kind and patient approach, Nadira enjoys working closely with young children and supporting their learning. She recently moved from Bangladesh and appreciates the support of her family as she settles into this new and exciting chapter.Riya is studying a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE and has been part of Greenleaf since January.
